I never quite understood what a "scant" 1/4 inch seam allowance was. This ruler has solved that problem. So easy to use and makes my seams precise!

I had been using a family member's seam gauge that looked like the one pictured and I was hoping to get the same item that was pictured. My item was a transparent purple plastic gauge with bigger holes than the one pictured.
